Breakfast Club
Support by: JAIME FRIAS & TOM LIEM
Within two years Breakfast Club has established itself as the most infamous after party in Amsterdam. Serving deep tunes, fresh breakfasts and creating a rare euphoric atmosphere. For the coming edition at Canvas they bring you a next level line up with Tama Sumo and The Analogue Cops live. Both Berlin based artists bring high quality house music and don't need a further introduction. With Breakfast Club residents Jaime Frias and Tom Liem completing the program everything is set for another legendary party. During the past years Canvas and Breakfast Club have proved to be a perfect combination. With all previous events sold out it's recommended to buy your tickets asap because you definitely don't want to miss out on this one!

The Analogue Cops
They are militant when it comes to their music: it has to be analogue. As DJs they play only vinyl, as producers they strictly use analogue equipment, and when they play live it is the same. Restoration Records has been an outlet for their uncompromising take on purist techno and house. Also known as Xenogears and OCP, the duo have been steadily upping their work rate to the point now where they both have their own labels and have been collaborating with the likes of Ryan Elliot, Blawan and Steffi, a live project under the name Third Side.

Last but not least: Tama Sumo 3 hours dj-set! do we need to say more?

Breakfast Club provides positive parties off the beaten path, outside of regular opening hours. We cater for those who decide for themselves when and how long they need to dance. We're all about creative freedom and self-expression. Over the last three years, this has caused for some unforgettable mornings in Amsterdam's thriving underground.

Breakfast Club strives for togetherness, uniting like-minded people (with a love for music and a knack for the good life) in a creative environment. We're not bound to space or time, as long as the basic premises are provided: a great location, musical freedom and loving people.

Musically, Breakfast Club finds inspiration in the uncharted corners of quirky house and techno. Emotion and hypnotizing grooves are key. DJ's and artists must be provided with the right time and space to fully express themselves.

On the culinary front, we serve tangible tenderness with our renowned breakfast buffet. Ever enjoyed healthy shakes and wholesome bio-delicacies just meters away from a rocking dancefloor? They say breakfast is the most important meal of the day; we couldn't agree more!

We're reaching out to anyone looking beyond themselves, open to new experiences. Our essential values? Freedom, tenderness and self-expression in the broadest sense. It comes from the heart, really.

Breakfast Club is aiming to enhance and expand. In Amsterdam, this means one event every two months. Expansion abroad and the start of a record label are currently looked into. Enough to keep the crew busy!
Our crew consists of Brent Roozendaal, Tom Liem, Jaime Frias and Tommy Kornuijt - four strong individuals with a quirky musical taste and a strong opinion on how a party should be. Individually, we've all been active participants in Amsterdam's thriving underground. But it's the bundling of our ideas, the chemistry of our interactions, that is at the core of Breakfast Club's success.
